Tomás Clancy, The Sunday Business Post's esteemed wine writer, said about us "Cases took the overall award for its innovative value-added elements, such as its children's play area and active wine tasting, along with its strong selection of wines. Cases has no minimum purchase, so you can buy a single bottle in the heady surroundings of thousands of bottles mounded up in attractive blocks of cases." And our website, Cases.ie, was listed as one of the top-10 wine websites in the country. As I said when we won our Bridgestone Award, we can only hope to live up to the praise, and maybe improve on things a little bit more, in 2010. Incidentally, the one element I was surprised neither citation mentioned was our wonderful staff, Conor, Gerry and Kevin. Their welcoming style and vast wine knowledge have made Cases what it is over the past two years.
