Ever since we finished our last series of great value Food & Wine Nights, we've been bombarded with requests to run more. So that's exactly what we're doing. And we're really excited about the little twists to the format that we're introducing this time around.
The first in the Series is on Tuesday week, 25th May. The venue is the top floor of that Galway icon, McSwiggans, on Woodquay. As per previous nights there will be a choice of two starters and two main courses plus two glasses of wine. But this time, we will be tutored through our wine tasting by Bob Berton, owner of Berton Vineyards. Centred in the Eden Valley in Southern Australia, Berton Vineyards has been producing confident and sure-footed Australian wines since its foundation way back in 1996. That should come as no suprise, given that Bob Berton was CEO of De Bortoli Wines in New South Wales for 10 years and Miranda Wines for 3 years, prior to going out on his own. Cost per head for this exciting night is €25, payable in advance at Cases Wine Warehouse. Places will be limited so book with us as soon as possible if you are interested. Payment can be taken at Cases or by credit card over the phone. The evening kicks off at 8.00pm.
