Galway Slow Food are holding a Slow Food meal and Slow Wine tasting this Friday night. The night kicks off with a slow wine tasting and talk from Peter Boland of Cases. The meal will include spiced beef prepared before Christmas and attendees are invited to bring a starter, side dish or dessert made with ingredients from a 30-mile radius. The venue is the Galway City Museum and the night kicks off at 7.30pm. Entry is free to Slow Food members, €10 for non-members. Contact Kate at 087 931 2333.
