From Langhorne Creek a wonderful Australian take on the classic Bordeaux blend. The 2008 vintage produced outstanding quality, particularly in Malbec and Petit Verdot and the resultant wine has great perfume and structure, richness and texture, with the typical blackberry, chocolate and violet character. It needs decanting. Drinking well now, the wine will reward careful cellaring up until 2022. Winner, Gold Medal, Rutherglen Wine Show 2010.
