Fast becoming a real alternative to confected Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs, the Te Awanga coast of Hawkes Bay has a cool sea breeze which produces white wines of purity and elegance. The Elephant Hill Sauvignon Blanc displays a combination of gooseberry, lemon verbana and thyme. The palate balances wet-stone minerality with flavours of lime and citrus peel.
