Aromatic, stewed plums and chocolate on the nose with herbaceous mulberry leaves. 12 months in fermentation in American oak has provided the Merlot with spicy cinnamon and chocolate flavours, whilst 30% French oak fermentation has contributed warm cedar and vanilla characters. Ripe stewed plums are complemented with blackcurrants on the palate.
