An extended stay in barrel (almost 2 years) & bottle brings incredible complexity to this high-end, long living Rioja. Dark cherry red in colour, the nose is elegant, well balanced, full of fruit berry aromas with hints vanilla from time in oak. The structure is firm, with gripping tannins, yet soft on the palate before a long lingering finish. Expect flavours of espresso, violets and rich, chocolatey black berry fruit.
