Basa, which means "foundation", expresses the revitalization of Spanish winemaking in recent years. The ancient town of Rueda situated on the high plateau of Castile, in northwest Spain, is known for its excellent white wines, based on the Verdejo grape. This wine also has a small amount of Viura and a little Sauvignon Blanc which is quite prominent on the nose. Basa is a classic dry white, with freshness, and a super balance of fruit and acidity.
