‘Deep red in the glass, with a purple rim. It’s Ribera straight out of the box with earthy, floral notes of violet with great cherry and mulberry fruit. More interest is added with some smoke and creamy oak. The palate shows similar fruit with added sage, minerals and iron ore. Loads of soft fruit tannins, the acid is a touch low.
